I do not know if it will work but she can always say she is breast feeding the baby so, they can't seperate her, plus with test today they can know if a person has taken any drug in the past 90 days. Just a suggestion

This is awful. I don't know what state you are in but they should defer to family members taking care of the baby. If he has a bad drug record I doubt they will give the baby to him or he will get unsupervised visitation...been there done that with a family member. Unfortunately when people lie to what we call CPS where I live they have to investigate anyway. A test should prove him wrong anyway. I don't understand the rush to take the baby away. Have any birth defects shown up related to drugs? This seems sort of odd they wouldn't check her while she is there in the hospital. Good luck, hope all works out for the family.

It's bastards like that that make me hate people. Just because he couldn't be there he thinks he has the right to mess with a mother's bond with her child? Correct me if I'm wrong here but shouldn't his drug record impeach his claims of being a 'bad mother'?
